The IRS has extended the due date for all tax returns and for all federal income tax payments due April 15th (this includes tax due, first-quarter estimated tax payments for 2020, and extension payments) until July 15th, 2020. While the firm is still operational and will continue to work on the preparation of tax returns during these times, the school closures, homeschooling requirements for many of our parents, and the overall challenges we all are facing will likely result in the tax returns taking longer to be completed than in prior years. With the date these returns and payments now due July 15th, we are working to get all returns in house complete and to clients by that date. Thank you for your understanding during these difficult times.
McDirmit Davis is following the CDC and Federal Government guidance of limiting gatherings to less then 10 people. To follow this guidance we will be closing our office until April 30. We plan to open on May 1st. Our staff will be working remotely during this time so you shouldn’t experience an interruption in service. Please call or email us with questions and we will route them accordingly. We will update you all when office hours return. Thank you for your patience during these trying times.
